This activity includes monitoring and taking actions for claims to cash or other assets against other entities, either based on legal provisions, such as a payment due date, or goods tendered or services rendered and debts due to the Department of Defense, within a specified accounting period. The management of receivables is the collection of amounts due to include administrative fees, interest, and penalties. The Manage Receivables activity also includes billing, aging, dunning, write-off, adjustment, and the assessment of interest and penalties on outstanding receivables. |
