The Perform Acquisition Assessment system function provides an early warning capability for identifying potential and actual problems and facilitates the exchange of information between the Program Manager (PM), Senior Managers and OSD. The process identifies ten assessment indicator areas to rate or assess the progress/health of individual programs. The indicator areas are Performance, Test and Evaluation, Logistics Requirements and Readiness, Cost, Funding, Schedule, Contracts, Production, and Interoperability. Red, Yellow, Green and Advisory, respectively, are used as values for rating the indicator areas. |
