Description: Strength Authorization is the specification of military manpower strength ceilings, within a specified fiscal year, authorized by Congress for each of the armed forces. This includes, but is not limited to, service end strength; specified limitations on the number of members of a reserve component permitted to be on active duty; and Dual Status Military Technician end strength for each reserve component of the Army and Air Force.
