The process of a customer requesting and obtaining authorization, from a service provider, for the return of an Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul product. In addition to discussing the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul issue, the customer and service provider would discuss enabling conditions such as return replacement or credit, packaging, handling, transportation and import / export requirements to facilitate the efficient return of the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul product to the service provider. The customer may need to go through several return authorization iterations with multiple service providers before authorization is received. |
