Description: The Force Management Family of Systems comprises systems that support the Force Manager roles, which are involved with total force management, including the development, analysis and implementation of position plans, management of strength levels against those plans, and acceptance of individuals into the Department of Defense to ensure the efficient and effective support of wartime and peacetime operations, contingency planning, and preparedness. In addition, the Force Management Family of Systems supports all activities associated integrating workforce analysis results into force structure requirements and personnel functions such as Stop Loss. This Family of Systems enables proper utilization of Department of Defense human resources through structuring organizations, validating organizations against budgetary constraints, establishing and allocating positions, and managing programs required to support these strategic goals.
