Apportionment 

Type - ICOM Arrow
Description: An apportionment is a distribution made by the Office of Management and Budget of amounts available for obligation in an appropriation. The apportioned amount limits the obligations that may be incurred. An apportionment may be further subdivided by an agency into allotments, sub allotments, and allocations. This document is one of the three main sources that must be approved prior to issuing the Budget Authority to the component.
