Description: The objective of the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) is to achieve auditable, CFO compliant business environments for the Defense Agencies with accurate, timely, authoritative financial data. The primary goal is to deploy a standardized system solution to improve overall financial management and comply with BEA, SFIS, and OFFM requirements. The strategy is to implement a compliant business solution with common business functions within budget execution: e.g. procure to pay; order to fulfill; acquire to retire; budget to report; cost accounting; grants management; time and labor; and re-sale.
