Member Reserve Component Category / Training and Retired Category Designator
Description
Member Reserve Component Category/Training and Retired Category Designator is the Classification of a Reserve Component DoD Military Service member's participation in Mission and training requirements.

Usage
Member Reserve Component Category/Training and Retired Category Designator is used to document the Classification under which a Reserve Component DoD Military Service member participates in Mission and training requirements.

A Reserve Component DoD Military Service member's Member Reserve Component Category/Training and Retired Category Designator is also used to determine personnel actions related to Military Service pay, eligibility and the accumulation of retirement points.

All Reserve Component members that are not counted in Active Duty end strength will be assigned a Member Reserve Component Category (RCC)/Training and Retired Category (TRC) Designation based on their obligations to meet Mission requirements and training requirements.
Permitted Values
II - Inactive National Guard (ING)
PJ - Officers not in the Selected Reserve but participating in officer training
PK - Officers not in the Selected Reserve but participating in the AFHPSP
RE - Trained members of the Individual Ready Reserve (IRR)
RH - Untrained Member of the Individual Ready Reserve (IRR) in the Delayed Entry
RM - IRR subject to Involuntary Call to Active Duty
RU - Service performed by members in that status is not creditable toward comput
SA - Drilling Unit Reservists
SG - Unit Full-Time Support (FTS) Personnel
SV - Full-Time Members (Special Category)
TB - Individual Mobilization Augmentees (IMAs)
UF - Members Currently on IADT
UP - Members Awaiting IADT Authorized to Perform IDT
UQ - Enlisted Members Awaiting Second Part of Split IADT
US - AGR Enlisted Members Currently on, or Awaiting, IADT
UT - Individuals in a Simultaneous Membership Program
UX - Other Selected Reserve Untrained Personnel in Training Programs
V1 - Reserve members who have completed the requisite qualifying years creditabl
