The Secretary of the Navy must consider an officer eligible for Nuclear Qualified Officer Continuation Pay if each of the following is true:
- The officer is eligible for Basic Pay.
- The officer is qualified to perform duty in connection with the supervision, operation, and maintenance of naval nuclear propulsion plants.
- The officer has executed a Nuclear Qualified Officer Continuation Pay agreement with the Secretary.
- The member is not on an Educational Leave of Absence.
- The member is not on Permanent Change of Station orders awaiting final action on physical evaluation board proceedings. |
