The Service concerned must consider a member eligible for Individual Ready Reserve/Inactive National Guard (IRR/ING) Reenlistment Bonus if each of the following is true:
- The member has executed an IRR/ING Reenlistment Bonus agreement with the Secretary concerned.
- The member remains an enlisted member in the IRR/ING during the period of reenlistment or extension.
- The member is qualified in the critical military skill for which the agreement was executed, unless moved to a non-bonus-eligible skill at the express direction of the Reserve component. |
