The Service concerned must continue a member's Hazardous Duty Incentive Pay for Flying Duty for 120 days after the date on which the member is involuntarily removed from flying duty if the member is given less than 120 days of advance notice of involuntary removal from flying duty without regard to the flight requirements and each of the following is true:
- The member is an enlisted crew member.
- The member is in flying status.
- The member's flight orders do not include a termination date.
- The member is not removed from a flying status for any of the following reasons:
- separation
- confinement
- relief for cause
- reduction in grade
- medical unfitness
- absence without leave
- transfer to ground duty at the member's request |
