The Secretary concerned must consider a member ordered to perform hazardous duty for a definite period and receiving Hazardous Duty Incentive Pay (HDIP) while incapacitated as a result of Hazardous Duty performance eligible for HDIP through the end date of the duty period stated in the orders and beyond the end date of the duty period stated in the orders when evidence is furnished that the member would have continued in the Hazardous Duty performance had it not been for the incapacity. |
