The Secretary concerned must pay a member eligible for Career Enlisted Flying Incentive Pay (CEFIP) at the rate of Hazardous Duty Incentive Pay for Flying Duty Pay that the member was receiving immediately prior to becoming eligible for CEFIP if each of the following is true:
- The member was eligible for Hazardous Duty Incentive Pay for Flying Duty immediately prior to becoming eligible for ACIP.
- The member was serving as an air weapons controller or flight crew member while eligible for Hazardous Duty Incentive Pay for Flying Duty.
- The rate of Hazardous Duty Incentive Pay for Flying Duty Pay that the member was receiving immediately prior to becoming eligible for CEFIP is higher than the rate of CEFIP to which the member is eligible. |
