The Navy must consider a Navy member eligible for Sea Duty Incentive Pay if each of the following is true:
- The member is eligible for Basic Pay.
- The member is serving on Active Duty.
- The member has executed a Sea Duty Incentive Pay agreement with the Secretary of the Navy.
- The member agrees to return to sea duty six or more months earlier than the members' Projected Rotation Date from a shore assignment.
- The member began serving the sea duty assignment.
- The member meets any other conditions specified by the Secretary of the Navy.
- The member is not in any of the following statuses:
- Educational Leave of Absence
- at home on Permanent Change of Station orders awaiting final action on physical evaluation board proceedings
- Terminal Leave
- Confinement |
