The Marine Corps must consider a member eligible for Designated Operating Force (OPFOR) Assignment Incentive Pay if each of the following is true:
- The member is eligible for Basic Pay.
- The member is serving on Active Duty.
- The member has executed a Designated OPFOR Category I Assignment Incentive Pay agreement with the Secretary of the Navy.
- The member is serving in an assignment to an infantry squad/section leader billet in an infantry military occupational specialty (0311, 0314/16, 0317, 0321/23/24/26, 0331, 0341, 0351, or 0352) in an OPFOR unit that is stabilized for deployment.
- The member is in a pay grade of E-3, E-4, or E-5.
- The member is not eligible for any other Marine Corps Assignment Incentive Pay.
- The member meets any other conditions prescribed by the Marine Corps.
- The member is not in any of the following statuses:
- Educational Leave of Absence
- at home on Permanent Change of Station orders awaiting final action on physical evaluation board proceedings
- Terminal Leave |
