Military Unit Geographic Location is used to document the geographic area or point associated with a unit within a DoD Military Service's force structure.
Military Unit Geographic Location is associated with the Military Unit Identifier which is commonly referred to as the Unit Identification Code (UIC) for the Department of the Army and Department of the Navy, the Personnel Accounting System (PAS) for the Department of the Air Force, and the Reporting Unit Code (RUC) for the Marine Corps.
Military Unit Geographic Location may be used to determine a DoD Service member's eligibility for specific pays and/or exemptions from specific deductions. |
