Long Name: Standard Disbursing Initiative 
Description: The Standard Disbursing Initiative (SDI) addresses current disbursing challenges by consolidating existing functionality to meet DFAS customer needs for enterprise and tactical disbursing. SDI encompasses all current and future disbursing systems operated by DoD. The target disbursing systems are ADS for enterprise and DDS for tactical. Legacy system SRD1 is being retired, while CDS is being merged with ADS. In addition, SDI supports the implementation of ERPs.
