Description: Demand that is generated at that point at which a stock replenishment requisition shall be submitted to maintain the predetermined or calculated stockage objective. For demand-based computations, the reorder point equals the sum of the safety level of supply, the level for ordering and shipping time, repair-cycle level (for reparable items), and authorized additive levels.
